A new study suggests that methane emissions from the mining, drilling and transportation of coal, oil and natural gas may have been under-estimated by as much as 50%.

For The Real News Network, I discussed the new study with Dr. Robert Howarth, an ecologist at Cornell University. Dr. Horvath has done extensive research on methane emissions from fracking.
