This week, on the Dialectics Unhinged Podcast, I took part in a wide-ranging discussion about the stunning decline of the West. Among other things, we talked about the failure of Western elites to address the root causes of the Financial Crisis, the alarming rise in censorship and cancel culture, the reduction of human beings to mere ‘consumers’, and NATO’s devastating proxy war in Ukraine.

    As a leftie octogenerian it was interesting to hear the views of a zellenium ! No matter the current trends it always circles back to two things. Taxes and representation. In the past , as you mentioned the top tax rate was 90%. So reform of tax system. ( see Neil Brooks and Linda McQuaig Then how can we make our voices heard politically. Some form of Proportional representation is necessary. I feel radical movement in these two areas would help solve some of our problems. What do you think?
