This past weekend, I spoke with American documentary filmmaker Regis Tremblay about Israel’s latest war on Gaza.
I explained to Regis the basis of my view that Israel is essentially a huge U.S. military base masquerading as a country, that it’s true raison d’être is to project U.S. military power into the world’s richest oil-producing region, and that the Middle East will not find lasting peace until it finally rids itself of the pestilence of Anglo-American imperialism.
For reasons that I will explain more fully in the days ahead, I believe that the collapse of Anglo-American power in the Middle East has begun, and that this collapse will have profound consequences for Palestinians and Israelis.
