Alexander Mercouris of The Duran joined me today for a lively discussion about the extraordinary events of this past Monday.
On May 20, Iran announced the death of its President and Foreign Minister in a helicopter crash.
Then, the ICC’s Chief Prosecutor announced he was seeking arrest warrants for Israel’s Prime Minister, its Defence Minister and three senior officials of Hamas.
Finally, two senior British Judges issued an 11th-hour reprieve to Julian Assange. Assange was on the verge of being extradited to the United States, which has persecuted the towering Australian journalist for the ‘crime’ of exposing U.S. war crimes in Iraq.
On top of all that, May 20 was the last day of Volodymyr Zelensky’s term as Ukraine’s President. Controversially, Zelensky has avoided an election, and has remained in power, only by invoking martial law.
Nowadays, global events move so swiftly that it’s challenging to keep up.

shouldn’t a lawyer do what he/she must do and not what he/she wants to do, without any hesitation???
