For the Real News, I interview climate scientist Robert Kopp on the increasing threat of sea level rise. As Professor Kopp explains, the last time that the earth was as hot as our greenhouse gas emissions are causing the earth to be, sea levels were six to nine meters higher. Professor Kopp explains further that, if current trends of greenhouse gas emissions persist, then global sea levels could eventually rise to a level that is far in excess of 9 meters above current sea levels.
