For The Real News, I spoke recently with former U.S. Marines intelligence officer and United Nations weapons inspector Scott Ritter about the Ukraine war, global nuclear security and Canada’s participation in NATO.
According to Scott, Russia is winning the war in all respects. He also explains that the U.S. government has consistently lied about its purported compliance with nuclear arms treaties and that, for Canada, NATO has become “a poison pill”. According to Scott, Canada’s security interests would be better served by its withdrawal from NATO.
