On July 9, 2023, at a No-to-NATO protest outside the United States consulate in Toronto, I argued that NATO is a protection racket which exists to enrich and empower the U.S. military industrial complex, and that this supposedly ‘defensive’ military behemoth constitutes an existential threat to humanity.
