On September 20, 2023, the Canada-Wide Peace and Justice Network held a webinar in which I and two other peace activists discussed the delivery of cluster munitions and depleted uranium to Ukraine’s military by the United States and British Governments.
In my presentation, I explained that, when the U.S. Government agreed in July 2023 to send cluster munitions to Ukraine’s army, Western human rights groups had already documented the Ukrainian military’s use of cluster munitions in civilian areas. This constituted a war crime.
