Since October 7, 2023, Canadian-Palestinian artist and educator Rehab Nazzal has been in Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.
On November 22, 2023, Rehab spoke with me about current conditions in the West Bank. She described the actions of Israel’s occupation forces as a “war” on West bank Palestinians that is without precedent in her lifetime. She also explained that Israel has turned the West Bank into ‘six Gazas’.

Thank you Dimitri . Thank you for this & all that you have done to seek to tell and show the truth ; seeking justice and peace in years past & more recently re Russia & Ukraine and now Gaza . The horrors inflicted on Palestinians. The world protests are exposing those who are complicit; they cannot say “we didn’t know ” and justice will come.
