On Dr. David Kattenburg’s Green Planet Monitor, Professor Radhika Desai and I talked about the increasingly aggressive efforts of Western governments to suppress criticisms of their foreign policies and their proxies.
As I discussed with Dr. Kattenburg and Professor Desai, many progressives have advocated in recent years for censorship of right-wing commentators. In response to their calls for censorship, I and others warned that, inevitably, the government would turn its powers of censorship on us.
That is exactly what is happening now to those of us who condemn Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza. Governments and pro-Israel advocacy groups are pulling out all the stops to silence us.
