In National Security, U.S. Politics

Yesterday, I spoke with Zain Raza of German independent media outlet, AcTVism Munich, about the latest developments in the Ukraine war. Among other things, Zain and I discussed the U.S. government’s opposition to negotiations with Russia. As I explained to Zain, the historical record makes abundantly clear that the U.S. government does not provide tens of billions of dollars in military aid to foreign governments out of the goodness of its heart. U.S. support for Ukraine never was about the well-being of the Ukrainian people. Rather, it is all about perpetuating U.S. hegemony. In the Ukraine war, the Biden administration’s true objective is to weaken Russia. To that end, it is eminently willing to sacrifice Ukraine.

I saw part of this. Really tragic. Telegram had a short video of a Ukrainian soldier getting an SMS that he was paid but he only received, 500 Hryvnys ($14) a month so who is stealing it. Also they don’t pay compensation to families for soldiers that died (“He ran away>”) So much corruption.
Sadly all over Europe you are arrested , prosecuted, fined for saying anything positive about Russian activities. Like the Dutch you are going to see governments turned out of office. Layoffs, bankruptcies, bank runs are coming this Spring.
