For over one year, human rights activists have been protesting steps away from the United States Embassy in Berlin. They’ve been demanding the liberation of Julian Assange. Today, I interviewed one of those activists. Her name is Raia.

Raia explained that the persecution of Mr. Assange transcends his personal freedom and is fundamentally about the public’s right to know the truth.
